Your Race Results Should Not Need a Maths Degree
If your weekend involves a calculator, a highlighter, and three people arguing about who actually won the 250 Pro, this one is for you.
Racing is simple. Scoring it is apparently rocket science.
The racing bit is easy. Bikes go fast, dirt goes everywhere, everyone has a great time. Then the racing stops and the real event begins: working out who actually won.
Someone has the lap sheets. Someone else has a different version of the lap sheets. A third person swears they counted an extra lap for number 14. And now four adults are huddled around a canteen table doing long division like the trophy depends on it. Because it does.
The "I think they got fourth?" school of scoring
We have all heard the legendary phrases:
- "Just average it out, mate."
- "Pretty sure he was ahead on the last lap."
- "Did anyone actually write down moto two?"
This is not a scoring system. This is a group hallucination with podiums.
Let the robots do the boring bit
Here is a wild idea: what if the times added themselves up? What if positions sorted automatically the moment a lap was logged, and the standings just... appeared?
That is the whole point of SquadRace. You log laps on a phone, it does the maths instantly, and the results are right the first time. No calculators. No highlighters. No three-person summit behind the toilet block.
Your racers earned their results out on the track. The least we can do is get the numbers right. Save the maths degree for something important, like working out how you spent that much at the bike shop again.
